Read "Indian Education" by Sherman Alexie. Discussed genre of timeline using instructor's model. Independently, students created qualitative timelines of their lives by 1) identifying at least ten significant events, experiences, or moments in their lives, 2) rating them on an awesomeness scale of 0-10, and 3) plotting these experiences on a graph. Then, each student chose at least two related events and wrote a brief narrative about them.
